In countries such as the United States, it refers to someone who has served in the military. <br />The United States Department of Veterans Affairs is a government department that implements the military veterans benefit system. It offers programs of veteran benefits for veterans, survivors of wars and their families and dependents too. Veterans' benefits at the Federal level are the following: disabled wage, monetary support for institute, family loans, life warranty, medical and burial benefits, survivors' benefits, and professional rehabilitation. <br />Each state in the United States too attempts benefits apt veterans including education and property tariff relief. Each state has particular condition to be eligible as these benefits. <br />Aside from the government, there are other personal creations and organizations that cater benefit programs for US veterans. Most of these institutions are manage by veterans themselves, so they understand the special needs of this group. These organizations are usually associated with well-known establishments around the earth in giving special discounts and freebies above voyage and entertainment, gifts and shopping as well as health and wellness and other services advantageous to veterans. <br />There are additional organizations and aid groups namely give free service to veterans. These teams aid veterans and their adored ones seek the medicinal concern they should to have or go with them to interface with government agencies. <br />Veterans were also given a special holiday, shrieked Veterans Day or Armistice Day to honor their contributions and services via conducting procedures and parades and giving admission.
