Considered the first official sequel to the 1980's animation series, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles follows Scott Bernard (voiced by Greg Snegoff) as he hunts for the missing Commander Hunter and the SDF-3. At the same time, the Robotech Expeditionary Force tries to defeat the Invid once and for all, even as a new enemy appears.

Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles will appear in select theatres, and on DVD, in early 2007. Both Harmony Gold and FUNimation are coy about specifics.
Organizers will present the award at the film's screening on October 28 at the Harkins Centerpoint Theatre in Tempe, Arizona.
FUNimation/Harmony Gold's Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles got a minor boost when it won the Best Animated Sci-Fi Feature Award at the 2006 Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival.
