McGraw-Hill Group Looks for Digital Education in K

The McGraw-Hill Group will provide technical service and talent training for Huaqiao International Service Business Park, according to a cooperation memorandum of understanding signed with the Kunshan government and Ambow Education Group on November 13.
Harold McGraw III, president and CEO of McGraw-Hill Companies and chairman of the Business Roundtable, Guan Aiguo, deputy secretary and mayor of Kunshan,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Tang Naixin, vice director of the managing committee of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone and Dr Huang Jin, CEO of Ambow Education Group, attended the signing ceremony.
Guan welcomed the visitors and briefed them on the economic and social development in Kunshan. "Huaqiao International Service Business Park,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], part of Kunshan, is the only provincial development zone for the modern service industry as of now," he said,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], adding in recent years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the ratio between Kunshan's service industry and the GDP has been on the rise continuously.
McGraw III spoke highly of the service industry development in Huaqiao and expressed his company's willingness to cooperate in digital education so as to promote economic development both in China and the US.
In addition to training talents to speak English fluently, the memorandum also states that J.D. Power and Associates,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a business unit of The McGraw-Hill Companies, will jointly launch an assessment of Kunshan's competitiveness and capabilities as a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center through a first-of-its-kind Service Outsourcing Readiness Index, which will help promote Huaqiao International Service Business Park into a world brand.
