As you lie in bed some nights, do you find yourself wondering how to fall asleep faster? I know I do. Sometimes you can be really tired at night, and you would think you would be able to fall asleep instantly,classic mini cheap ugg boots, as soon as your head touches the pillow. But no. Your mind decides to start thinking when you do not want it to. From then on you have to wait for your mind to quieten down before you can get to sleep. Meanwhile, you are deprived of some of the sleep you went to bed for.
Here are five tips on how to fall asleep faster.
1. Make sure you are tired when you go to bed. That means ensuring you are physically tired, as well as mentally. If you exercise in the evening, make sure you have finished working out about four hours before going to bed.
2. Ideally, the bedroom temperature should feel cool, and you should feel slightly cold when you first get into bed. It is important to avoid night sweats because if you are too hot in the night you will wake up, and it takes a long time to cool the body down when you are too hot.
3. Your bed should be in good condition. The mattress needs to be firm and supportive to your body, and should not be too soft.
4. If there has been anything on your mind during the day,UGG Kensington boot, try not to take it to bed with you. A period of winding down is beneficial if you are to get a good nights sleep.
4. Make sure your food is adequately digested before trying to sleep. If you have to eat close to bed time, a light snack is preferable to a heavy meal, which will stop you going to sleep.
5. Don't be tempted to drink alcohol thinking it will help you to fall asleep faster. It will only dehydrate you, and you will wake up in the night feeling thirsty.
